Peter McLaughlin - Academic Director, VIEC

Peter McLaughlin is Academic Director at VIEC, with over 20 years in senior roles at some of the UK's most respected educational institutions.
A Cambridge graduate, Peter has served as Principal of CATS Cambridge and Cambridge School of Visual and Performing Arts, Centre Director of ONCAMPUS London at Birkbeck, University of London (650 students) and Director of University Partnerships & Progression at Cambridge Education Group. Thousands of his students have progressed to LSE, UCL, King's College London, Russell Group universities, Oxbridge and leading European universities - including pathways into medicine, business and law.
For Peter, education is the path to becoming an independent, responsible adult, ready to contribute meaningfully to the world. At VIEC, he personally ensures every preparation programme meets the academic standard of British universities - and that every student has a real chance to study where they aspire to go.
